On Friday, October 11, 2020, DEQ sent to Green Ridge Recycling the attached letter stating they found both the Notice of Indent (NOI) and Part A application to be “administratively complete”. We are researching just what this means and will let you know as we obtain more information.
IT’S NOT A DONE DEAL!!!
You may hear from others (i.e. Green Ridge folks) that the proposed mega landfill is a DONE DEAL – it is not!! We have a lot of fight left in us and we must keep in mind there is “Strength in Unity” and every day we gain in numbers opposing this – national, state, local and individuals. This will not be a done deal until the first piece of TRASH is accepted at the site – which will not happen as long as this project is not good for Cumberland and Powhatan counties nor entire State of Virginia. Thank you for your support!!
