Farmville Herald Poll Still Open
The Farmville Herald is taking a poll on the following question: “Do you support the Green Ridge landfill being placed in Cumberland County?” You can still cast your vote. Just put “Farmville Herald” in your browser and then click on the link to the newspaper. About midway down on the right you will see the question and you can make your choice and cast your vote. As of the time of this writing there was a total of 369 votes, 331 – NOs; 30 – Yes; and 8 – No opinion.

There was two interesting articles published recently by the Farmville Herald concerning the proposed Green Ridge mega landfill in Cumberland County, VA. They are:

Copies of both articles are attached so you can read them in their full context. You can tell just by the titles of the two articles there are very different views on the same area. Please read both articles and form your own opinion and do not be afraid to share your opinion by writing a Letter to the Editor, not only to the Farmville Herald but other media outlets as well. Do not be afraid to share your letter with county, state, and federal officials. Let your voice be heard.
